The Vision of Moline Christian Reformed Church is to fan the spiritual fire in our hearts, so each person we come into contact with may feel the warmth of God’s love.

MISSION STATEMENT

GATHER: Fellowship of our members for Worship, Prayer and Teaching.

GROW: Instill a desire that we be followers of Jesus Christ.

GO: Serve each other through Unconditional Love Reach out to those not attending or searching for a new church home.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

· Reach out to 10 new families in the community each year through personal contact or supporting agencies.

· Contact all residences within our community by year 2008.

· Attain 60% member attendance at Sunday evening Worship Services by year 2010.

· Increase flexibility in worship enfolding all members.

· Each member be involved in some form of Church Ministry.

In prayerful obedience to God's Holy Word, we are called to:

CELEBRATE God's greatness and love by proclaiming His Holy Word through regular worship and fellowship

COMMUNICATE the love of our Lord Jesus Christ by sharing the Word through a caring

ministry in our community and worldwide

CULTIVATE gifts of service to nurture each believer to a mature, joyful faith through the

transforming power of the Holy Spirit

CORE (ABSOLUTE) BELIEFS

· We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God sent to redeem the world. This calls us to repent, love and trust Him.

· We believe the Bible is the Word of God revealing Christ and His redemption.

· We hold to the Truths of the Bible as expressed in the Reformed Creeds which include the Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession and Canons of Dordt, therefore, all our decisions must be tested by the Truths of Scripture.

· We believe that with the help of the Holy Spirit, we show the love of Christ and join in doing the work of the Lord everywhere.
